Purpose
: The Manager of Manufacturing Training is responsible to develop and administer training material and best practices for all manufacturing processes. Ensuring the mentoring/training of new hires, as well as coaching existing staff. This position will work with the ME/Engineering team and all other manufacturing teams with the goal of driving efficiency improvements through consistent training, knowledge transfer, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure all training staff is carrying out their roles and responsibilities with the 3 c’s as a foundation.
· Ensure all training staff are delivering training consistent across shifts in each area.
· Will work directly with Manufacturing Excellence, Quality, R&D and Engineering to ensure all training material and training delivery is aligned to best practices and quality expectations.
· Will be accountable for ensuring each new staff member will be on boarded using the applicable curriculum, teaching the basics of the machines, safety, vocabulary and ensuring their first days encompass a learning experience designed for success.
· This person will be responsible for following up on trainees/trainers ensuring best practice is being followed.
· Will work directly with management team to ensure all training documentation regarding best practices, safety protocol, and new hire orientation is inspiring and kept current.
· Maintain and publish up to date documentation on associate trends including initial training sessions and follow up sessions.
· Lead group demonstrations on the manufacturing floor regarding new processes, training updates, and new hire orientations.
· Maintain consistent communication with internal R&D regarding new processes garment types and/or products.
· Will work in tandem with ME and Engineering to translate time and motion standards to ensure associates understand how efficiencies are calculated.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

· Computer skills including, Excel, Word, and Outlook, Power Point
· Must have flexibility in shift and hours with ability to work overtime as necessary
· Ability to track and document results accurately.
· Ability to interpret and translate data to the production floor.
· Ability to learn the operation of production equipment.
· Ability to communicate effectively both from an individual and group standpoint.
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English- bi-lingual a plus
· Must maintain a high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· HS Diploma required, 4 year degree preferred.
· Demonstrable experience in leading teams and/or training personnel.
