Purpose:

Manage patent administration duties for the Reebok Intellectual Property (IP) team.

Key Responsibilities:

Docketing and tracking all deadlines globally for patent and design cases, including preparing filing instructions, docketing prosecution deadlines, and monitoring correspondence with outside law firms.

Working with business partners to obtain necessary documentation for IP filings, prosecution, and renewals.

Corresponding with internal business partners and outside attorneys related to IP and contract matters to ensure timely and accurate response.

Preparing form contracts (NDAs) for review and signature; filing contracts and tracking related deadlines.

Maintaining and updating department files and records (including creating and updating files in database for IP matters).

Receiving correspondence, monitoring mail entry and administering department- owned email accounts.

Support special projects as needed (including for example updating patent portfolio information, supporting document discovery in patent litigation, etc.)

Requisite Experience:

2-4 years as an intellectual property paralegal

Familiarity with patent deadlines and docketing procedures

Strong IT skills, especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook

Excellent organizational skills

Strong communication skills

Preferred but not required: paralegal certificate; familiarity with Anaqua IP management software
