Facilities Assistant

Position Description
The position will be responsible for the daily facility operations of CGI's Lafayette Center of Excellence facility. We will be training the ideal candidate in the complete operations of the facility and be responsive to our customers on site which will number between 350 to 400 people.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Oversee HVAC systems, AV setup and troubleshooting, conference room setups, stocking pantries and ordering of supplies as well as system furniture setup or change, oversee onsite vendors, troubleshoot security systems as needed by HQ Security. Performing minor repairs as needed. Overseeing moves, space utilization and all building maintenance coordination.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Associates degree plus one year of experience or additional experience in lieu of education.

In addition:
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Flexibility with work hours and availability to be on call after working hours for handling urgent issues
- Multi-task and work under pressure to meet established goals, objectives and deadlines
- Proactive versus reactive approach
- Good communication skills
- Able to move furniture and lift items up to 50lbs
- All other duties as required
