Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Lead, promote and implement end to end HR support within the HR department. Partner with HR Business Partner’s and Talent and Rewards to support the delivery of programs, both operational and strategic. This role is expected to perform “hands –on” work within the HR Team on a regular and continuing basis.

The individual will provide HR support to ensure a high level of service to the business and employees. The Assistant Manager HR will play a key role in ensuring we deliver best in class support to our business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

· Build and maintain a close relationship with internal customers to ensure that business needs are taken into consideration in developing people initiatives and HR standards; ensure procedures are fully understood and implemented within the company.
· Establish HR as a trusted business partner through anticipating support required by Lines of Business and offering them advice in their execution of people initiatives, programs and policies
· Prepare periodic HR reports analysis to support the business
· Support in the end to end execution of special local, regional and global projects/initiatives that require project management, execution and follow up
· Work closely with HR team to ensure tactics and actions are aligned against adidas’s People/HR strategies and targets
· Schedule and organize internal and external meetings, appointments and events; and ensure the documentation of all follow up actions resulting from Team Meetings within HR
· Ensure maintenance of all Operational Excellence topics are performed by corresponding parties e.g SAP and payroll Data Accuracy as well as Personnel files update, share drive, e Rooms and other actions as required
· Develop and maintain an HR Training manual to ensure processes are clearly defined and documented
· Recommend, implement and update guidelines and policies in order to ensure relevant HR services and consistent standards of employment
· Champion process improvement within and across HR
· General administrative tasks (applications, certificates, etc) including travel arrangements, supporting/organising team events (e.g., Leadership meeting, HR Summit) and reimbursement processes
· Provide support on ad hoc projects

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· Good Influencing skills and strong Interpersonal skills.

· Solid project management skills
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with minimal supervision
· Good knowledge of HK labor law and fair knowledge of labor law in other APAC countries.
· Ability to perform HR analytics, draw trends and insights from data
· Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
· Knowledge of SAP (PA/OM) is a plus
· Familiar with HRIS (ideally SAP) and social media
· Ability to navigate and drive actions in culturally diverse and matrixed organizations

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· 5 years of progressive experience in HR generalist capacity, with at least 3 years of experience supporting HRBPs or business client groups; APAC Regional HR experience is a plus
· University degree in related field OR work experience equivalent
· A passion for Sports and Style(expanded above)
