A fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor has arisen to join a successful commercial auction house in the M40 area. This is a key leadership role, requiring an individual with the ability to supervise a large team whilst remaining hands on to support the team during high volumes of work. The successful applicant will have drive and ambition to enable the MD and Warehouse Manager to push the business forward. This role requires a highly security conscious individual comfortable with some responsibility for a large site.

·  £22,000-£23,000 per annum

·  Mon-Thur 8-5, Fri 8-4, Saturdays on a rota with a day off during the week


·  Free parking on site

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Report directly in to the Operations Manager

  • Promoting exceptional service delivery to customers

  • To manage the daily work plan for several teams

  • Provide management with the required information and feedback to contribute to the effective planning of the warehouse

  • Aid the Warehouse Manager in Health & Safety Compliance

  • Focus on Continuous Improvement

  • To lead by example to ensure excellent time keeping, work ethic and health and safety compliance within the warehouse

    Experience Required

  • Demonstrable previous experience in warehouse supervision - essential

  • Experience of managing Health & Safety activities - desirable

  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations - essential

  • Strong and confident communicator with people on all levels of a business - essential

  • Exceptional man management skills - essential

  • A team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement - essential

  • Excellent PC skills, with emphasis on Microsoft office - essential

  • Counterbalance/FLT license is - desirable

  • Stability of work history - essential
