We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for our client based in Cardiff. Heavy Industry/Engineering/Manufacturing experience required.
Duties include:
- Working in a fast paced busy warehouse environment
- Loading and unloading steel products
- Inspect stock including stock-taking duties
- Book stock on the company trace-ability system
- Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including keeping gangways clear
- Comply with the company Health and Safety policies and working practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks that are required as part of the needs of the business
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
Previous Warehouse experience
Previous Heavy Industry Experience a strong advantage
Excellent attitude/approach towards Health & Safety
Position to start immediately, on-going long term. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable organisation with career prospects.
Working a 4 on, 4 off 12 hour shift pattern.
