Transport Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator for one of our most valued clients based in Cheadle. This is a fantastic o opportunity to join a team within a world leading company within its sector. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring outbound deliveries are executed in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Duties will include -

- Manage truck and intermodal transports in compliance with requested schedules and at optimal
cost.
- Comply with legal and internal regulations and ensure quality is maintain within packaging, control loading and service requirements

- Monitor and control loading slots and service requirements

- Produce required transport documents, control and file

- Monitor all deliveries through to the final date; ensuring that pro active information is provided if there is any deviation from the agreed delivery date

Candidates Must

- Ideally be educated to Graduate Level

- Good Organisational skills

- Computer literacy; MS Office and SAP R/3

- Awareness of legislative issues surrounding the storage and distribution of Chemicals

- German speak would be desirable but not essential

Hours are Monday - Friday 9-5.30

£13.60 per hour
