My client based in Gateshead is a global retailer that provides electronic parts and services to various industries.

They are looking for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join there business on a guaranteed Temp to Perm Basis after 12 weeks.

Overview
As a Trade Counter Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for generating sales opportunities by establishing, managing and maintaining excellent customer relationships to bring our value proposition to life.

Working as part of the Trade Counter Team, you will have a natural talent to be able to identify our customers needs and requirements to maximise sales by using a proactive face to face approach.

What we are looking for:

* We require excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with customer services and soft sales experience.
* You will need to be able to work under pressure in a customer facing environment to give a high standard of customer service, resolving any issues with customers demands.
* Previous experience of working in a retail/warehouse environment.
* You will need to demonstrate that you are customer focused, results orientated and have the ability to work in a flexible medium sized team.
* Excellent decision making and influencing skills are also essential.
* Computer literacy required with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Previous experience of cash handling/banking.
* A driving license is desirable.
