A full time sales role in an exciting and established integrated electronic security company which offers unique solutions to many market places. This role is to assist the Sales Director & Managing Director in developing marketing campaigns with a view to generate new appointments via telephone. This will be done via intelligent telemarketing whereby potential clients are warmed up with emails & case studies relating directly to their market sector & our clients product. They will then be contacted via a phone with a view to obtaining an appointment. In addition the role will require answering incoming customer calls, therefore maintaining a thorough understanding of products & services offered by our client. They will be looking for a minimum of 5 brand new business appointments a week as a minimum.

Duties will include:
Obtaining company data in relation to up & coming marketing campaigns.
Developing a marketing strategy with the SD & MD for each new campaign & suggest areas of business to target.
Assist in the development of the clients website & be aware of social media & how that can assist in creating awareness & new business opportunities.
Make outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to sell products & services.
Answer basic questions about product specifications.
To input data accurately & efficiently into the clients CRM & ensure that this information is kept up to date.
Maintain a list of potential leads & follow up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches.
Assist colleagues with arranging meetings & sales calls with customers.
Ensure a working knowledge of products & services sold & keeps current on industry developments wherever possible.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate that they have patience, organisation, accuracy, the ability to achieve goals, be highly motivated & high energy. Excellent telemarketing skills are required for this role, as is a high standard of verbal/interpersonal communication, telephone & customer service skills, social media awareness.

There is a competitive package available to suitable candidates consisting of a £25k basic salary plus commission & pension scheme.
