DURATION 6 MONTHS with a scope for extension

DAY RATE Circa £500-550 VIA umbrella

LOCATION- WELWYN GARDEN CITY TWICE A WEEK

My client is a blue chip FMCG and retail brand that serve millions of customers every week from all over the globe. With over 6,000 stores internationally my client is a well-known household name that offer several exciting opportunities.

Job Summary

As a Technical Project Manager, you will deliver complex, cross-functional technology projects that support colleagues and help serve our customers better. They work collaboratively, influence business colleagues and lead the projects to deliver value quickly and often, defining the project management processes across the team, and embed them within our ways of working, and ensure it scales across the team as we grow.

Deliverables

·  Deliver complex projects with multiple business and technical risks that will impact the success of key business priorities.

·  Create and track a plan to deliver the project goals, including the technical implementation plan, ensuring colleagues and stakeholders are kept up to date.

·  Understand trade-offs in project delivery using experience and influencing skills to drive consensus with the Security Engagement, Culture, and wider security teams to obtain the best value and solution.

·  Can foresee potential risks and issues, establish a process, facilitate discussion, and manage escalations.

·  Can understand a technical architecture to be able to foresee the impact on dependencies, delivery timelines and implementation plans.

·  Have good knowledge of engineering best practices and practical infrastructure implementations to appreciate delivery challenges.

·  Collaborate with the wider Technology teams to define annual budgetary requirements
Build positive relationships with stakeholders to deliver software or professional services, holding them to account on delivery and improvement plans.

·  Contribute actively to TPM community.

Experience required.

·  Have a proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology projects.

·  Have experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior management

·  Strong Project, Stakeholder management skills

·  Good reporting skills for projects

·  Adept communication & influencing skills and adoptability to changes.
