Role details:

Pay rate: £13.53

Role Length: 1st October- 9th November

Location: Vauxhall

The purpose of the role is to provide coordinated and prioritised administrative support to the Head of External Communications and External Communications team.

In this role, your accountabilities and responsibilities are…

·  To act as a first point of contact for the external communications team, dealing with general queries utilising the highest level of customer care and ensuring confidentiality at all times

·  To organise and support the Head of External Communications with diary management and travel arrangements as required

·  To support the Head of External Communications with other team wide administrative tasks, including organising files, printing and preparing documentation, authorising expenditure, monitoring and processing invoices and budget monitoring.

·  To coordinate and support meetings, visits, webinars and teleconferences: including logistics, booking venues, preparing agendas and supporting documentation, taking and issuing minutes or action notes

·  To provide support for specific communications projects within the team, such as distribution of media releases, coordinating content production and delivery for the client's regional Facebook pages, assisting with production of visual assets for social media and occasionally monitoring the Facebook pages and responding to messages when required.

·  To take the lead in evaluation and reporting for External Communications activities across media and social media. Work with the Team Coordinator in the Media and PR Team to produce monthly media coverage evaluations.

·  To provide administrative support for the recruitment and induction of new starters and provide simple problem solving to candidates and new starters

·  Be familiar with and adhere to all relevant client policies and procedures at all times

·  Any other duties as reasonably required in line with skills, knowledge, and experience to contribute to the client's wider success
