Support Services Administrator

Gloucester

Fixed Term Contract (up to 12months)

£19,719-£21,837 (DOE)

Our Public sector client is looking for a Support Services Administrator. The position is based at their HQ in Gloucester and offers a lovely working environment.

Main responsibilities

Responsibility for safe storage, audit, reconciliation and administration of seized and other cash, liaising with Finance for updates as appropriate, maintaining accurate records in line with policies.

Carrying out a variety of general administrative tasks, including email responses, ordering of goods and services, issuing of pocket note books and diaries in an efficient and timely manner and archive as appropriate.

Liaising with Estates team, arranging handyperson attendance or for contractor access as appropriate.

Responding to enquiries for copies of digital data, produce copies of digital evidence in line with data management processes.

Capturing and downloading evidential footage, securing recorded images from bespoke CCTV software systems.

Reviewing and destroying historic evidential data and other records in line with current legislation and policy.

Meeting contractors and arranging for quotes and estimates in a timely manner.

Updating datababes and undertake analysis and completion of reports

Job requirements

1. Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel with the ability to produce professional reports.

3. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

4. Proven experience of presenting information in written format, with the ability to summarise information.

5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion, especially when dealing with members of the public.

7. Proven ability to read and interpret written text and instruction, paying attention to detail.

In return our client can offer a salary of £19,719- £21,837 dependant on experience. 37 hours per week.
