I have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Planner to work for a major FMCG client in Maidenhead. This role is positioned within a stand-alone entrepreneurial division of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the medium term forecast from key account managers, creating production forecasts and placing orders for finished goods to maintain supply of the current portfolio whilst supporting new product launches.

£130 per day

On-site parking

Part time role 3 days per week

12 month contract with potential to extend

The Role:

·  Work with Supply Chain Manager/Key Account Manager to create a forecast and production plan to be used to procure raw materials and packaging

·  Managing the SAP transactions for all stock movements i.e. the job holder will raise Purchase Orders, Goods Receipting Orders, raising invoices and credits and manage stock movements. Responsible for ensuring SAP stock listings reflect the correct quantity and value of stock.

·  Tracking and reporting service levels from all co-manufactures in order that any required improvements can be identified and the relevant action put in place

·  Communicating with co-manufactures to inform them of any changes to production schedules or changes in demand. Ensuring any other stakeholders are informed of changes and implications

·  Arranging transport for finished goods delivery

·  Problem solving to ensure all demand can be met or issues escalated, including short notice changes

·  Ensure all financial transactions & accruals are made in a timely manner following the Period End process.

·  Supply a rolling 12 week demand forecast

·  Input demand into Apollo to ensure visibility to the core business planners

·  Active contribution to the weekly NPD project meetings relevant to your category

Experience:

·  Recognised interpersonal savvy and communication skills

·  Strong customer focus

·  Planning and organisational skills

·  Experience of SAP

·  Solid critical thinking skills and a proven ability to demonstrate continuous improvement

·  A drive to make things happen and problem solving

·  Experience in FMCG - ideally food based
