Adecco Aviation are very pleased to be supporting this ground support equipment provider with their staffing at Luton Airport.

As a Shunter working a 40-hour week 0600-1800hrs on a 4 on 4 off basis, you will be required to carry out equipment collection, delivery, recovery and removal and also the maintenance of and basic repairs of trailers. In addition to these tasks there will be a requirement to carry out other general workshop duties as required.

Your days to day duties will be as follows:

·  To carry out planned maintenance and basic repairs to the trailer fleet;

·  Assist with the collection and delivery of spare parts when required;

·  Assist in the preparatory aspect of the vehicle movement, if requested;

·  To use time scanning system at all times;

·  Inform the Supervisor of any VOR parts immediately;

·  Assist GSE Technicians with general duties;

·  Ensure workshop vehicles are in order;

·  Assist with refuelling as required

In order to fulfil this role, you should have experience in driving variousi types of vehicles, have worked in a customer focused environment and have experience in the vehicle maintenance sector and some basic maintenance knowledge. An LGV2 is also desirable

As part of this role will entail working airside at Luton Airport you will need to confirm eligibility to work in the UK and undertake all checks necessary to obtain a full airside pass. This involves undertaking a criminal record check, completing general security awareness training and being able to provide 5 years of written references and support any gaps of 28 days or more
