An exciting Temporary position has arisen for an immediately available Sales Ledger Clerk to join our client situated in the Peterborough.
The role is to September as a minimum but there may be a possibility for a permamanet position for the right candidate.
Onsite parking is available and the role is paying £9.00 per hour.
Your responsibilities will include;
· Setting up new clients
· Producing Sales invoices from customer orders
· Banking and reconciliation
· Running off turnover statements
· Checking the invoices to ensure they are accurate
- Checking invoices against dispatch notes
- Maintaining the Sales Day Book
- Posting cheques received to the Sales Ledger
- Matching and reconciling sales invoices
- Raising Credit notes
- Produced aged debtor report for credit control purposes
- Sending statements and remittance advices to customers
· Sorting out any rebates and filing
· Checking VAT has been included on invoices
· Providing creditors with VAT receipts
