We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator for a lovely family run business in Gloucester. You will be working out of lovely modern offices that offer free on-site parking. The role of the Sales Administrator is a highly responsible position that requires diligence, attention to detail and keen can-do attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role of the Sales Administrator can be split into two clear categories:

Processing Orders

·  Processing Customers' orders (SOPs), checking contract reviews, and sending the customer order confirmations.

·  Raising purchase orders to suppliers (POPs), as a result of orders from customers, or internal requisitions.

·  Ensuring that nothing is processed without the correct authorisation being granted.

·  Production of weekly order intake statistics

Progression of Orders

·  To chase suppliers for delivery dates to ensure deliveries are made as quoted and expected.

·  Updating customers with delivery dates and advising them of any deviations to the original quotation.

·  Liaising with suppliers to ensure the most efficient method of shipment.

·  Provide information to management on a monthly basis regarding outstanding orders and when they are expected to be delivered.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

·  Accuracy and attention to detail.

·  Ability to organise and prioritise own work load.

·  Initiative, integrity and reliability.

·  Ability to effectively and efficiently work as part of a team.

·  Enthusiasm and willingness to learn, with a positive and fun attitude.

·  IT literate and Excellent customer service.

·  A mentality of wanting to continuously improve processes and practices.

·  Minimum of five GCSE (or equivalent) graded at C or above, including Maths and English.

Mon-Thurs 8:30-17:00 & Fridays 8:30-13:00, Salary of £17,000-£20,000 dependant on experience.
