Reporting to the Inside Sales Team Leader, the Inside Sales role is responsible for the following;

·  Actively promote, identify and capitalise on all order opportunities, with primary focus as directed by the Inside Sales Team Leader.

·  Work closely as part of a Team to fully understand:

·  Product sector opportunities and plan

·  Annual Objectives

·  Monthly Objectives

·  Daily Objectives

·  Advise relevant Inside Sales Team Leaders of any cross selling opportunities

·  Monitor discounts being offered and ensure correct pricing is being applied to all documentation. Seek advice/ approval for any substantial discount request.

·  Ensure purchase orders are received prior to invoicing, chasing customers on a regular basis where necessary.

·  Produce required documentation for quotations, contracts, delivery notes to enable effective invoicing. Ensuring to advise Inside Sales Team Leader of all enquires over the value of £50K (Purchase) or £500.00 p/d (Rental) so the necessary documentation can be produced.

·  Maintaining a high level of telephone calls to potential, existing and lapsed customers ensuring that we promote customer care and generate new business leads to achieve targets.

·  Analyse viability of all work conducted.

·  Ensure any new orders, quotations and lost orders are recorded.

·  Ensure we are working from the current Supplier Price Lists.

·  Attend additional training sessions as and when required.

·  Attend daily and weekly briefing meeting and participate in brainstorming sessions.

·  Develop and maintain customer database by using resources made available which may include the internet, CRM, InspHire, Sage, Sales Engineers, Business Development Managers.

·  Corresponding with Customers, Sales Engineers and Business Development Managers to identify Customer requirements.

·  Assist with stock takes.

·  Produce weekly / monthly recalibration reminders for customer equipment.

·  Monitor availability of products and highlight any shortages with relevant Inside Sales Team Leader.

·  Ensure QMS documentation (procedures and works instructions) are up to date.

·  Ensure all colleagues are following correct procedures in line with the QMS.

·  Work closely with Sales Engineers and Business Development Managers from specific target areas to increase sales and customer awareness of our available products.

·  Passing on any relevant customer comments, anecdotes etc to the correct Departments / Managers.

·  Complying with all Company Procedures including Health & Safety procedures and Directives and Company P.P.E. requirements.

·  Maintaining a work area that is tidy and free from hazards.

·  Checking company vehicles before use and driving in a safe and courteous manner.

·  Representing the Organisation to the highest possible standards at all times.

·  Reporting any accidents (person, property or vehicles) to the Board.

·  Any ad-hoc accidents (person, property or vehicles) to the Board.
