·  To be the first point of contact for student accommodation enquires in person, telephone, email or letter. Role-holders are expected to offer guidance, signposting and referral where appropriate, ensuring responses are accurate, clear and timely to a high written and/or oral standard and within set service responses times.

·  Assist with the development information about the availability of places in halls of residence, liaising with colleagues to publicise vacancies.

·  deliver administrative support for all term-time applicants and students, and to input and maintain records with accurate, clean data in real-time to attain agreed revenue and occupancy targets.

·  be familiar with and signpost students to the services that support their housing needs, especially dispute resolution.

·  keep up-to-date with current housing legislation relevant to private sector housing, advertising standards and e-commerce.

·  contribute to print and digital resources to promote Residential Services' portfolio of services to applicants and students, according to the School's style guide and branding, in plain English.

·  to attend promotional and other events to aid students' transition to university provided accommodation and the private housing sector.

·  maintain records of operational developments and changes within the team to ensure that all staff, including part-time student staff, have access to the latest operational procedures.

·  contribute to the induction of new staff and regularly share information with other team members on current activities and developments.

·  document procedures to support the use of systems used to inform the wider team.

·  ensure an accurate register of system issues, in conjunction with Residential Services Manager.

·  adopt a team-approach to ensure that in the absence of other team members, disruptions to customer services is minimised.

·  To contribute to broader Divisional events and activities.

·  and undertake any routine administration delegated by the Residential Services Manager.
