Recoveries Handler

My client were set up to be a provider of licensed vehicles to the victims of road traffic accidents who need access to vehicles to maintain their living. My client provide a replacement vehicle policy for licensed taxi and private hire drivers, and this role involves claiming back the cost of this from Insurance companies and processing the necessary paperwork.

Job Overview / Duties

*To recover our clients losses sustained as a result of a Road Traffic Accident from the Insurer of the party who was at fault for the accident.

*You will eventually be responsible for your own Account of approximately 100 cases.

*Uninsured losses encompass, Hire & Repair costs, Excess, Recovery & Storage, Loss of Earnings and Pre Accident Vehicle Value owed by the at fault Insurer.

*Good negotiation skills are necessary to ensure you are obtaining the best recovery for the client.

*The ideal candidate would be able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment.

*You will need to be able to organise and prioritise your day using a Management System, therefore excellent time management skills are required.

*Good communication skills across all levels are required, given you will be working predominately on the telephone with Insurers, Client's, Solicitors, Repairers and Sources.
