Quality Controller

Position: Quality Controller

Location: Waltham Cross

Salary/Rate: £20,000 - £22,000

Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week

Adecco Harlow are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller to join our new client based in Waltham Cross. This position is offering a competitive salary of £20,000 - £22,000 per annum and our client is looking for someone with previous QC experience.

This role will be split across the Warehouse and office areas and therefore would ideally be looking for someone with experience in both environments. Previous stock experience and working within a chilled environment would be advantageous as this role may require you to work within different temperatures.

Areas of responsibility include:

·  Ensure that the quality, quantity labels and the temperature of all incoming goods

·  Communicate the rejections, faults, damages or issues to the supervisor in an accurate and timely manner

·  Effectively and efficiently manage the quality and the safety of products from arrival to dispatch

·  Ensure that all equipment is calibrated and the daily temperatures are monitored and recorded

·  Positive release of the finished products per the customer specification

Skills and Experience required:

·  Previous Quality Control and/or stock control experience would be preferable.

·  Strong attention to detail.

·  Methodical and process driven

·  Computer literate. Proven experience in using the Microsoft office packaging.

·  The ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

·  Ability to fit in well within a small team.
