Ensuring metal products confirm to customer requirements through Non-Destructive-Testing within the steel production industry. This is a role that will provide specific training (if required), giving you the opportunity to gain further, recognised skills within our expanding steel industry. Testing will include hardness, using Brinell and digital hardness testing equipment to verify the suitability of cooling and heat treatment processes and that the material meets required mechanical properties/strengths. The customer base is of a prestigious nature, requiring the highest standard of product, due to the nature of their products.

Knowledge of NDT, QA, QC, Type-Testing - PMI, XRF, OES. Hardness testing, steel finishing operations are a distinct advantage.

There will be excellent shift premiums and holiday entitlement available with this role.
