My client based in the Trentham area is looking for a QC Inspector for its expanding team.

The role involves maintaining standards through the process and final inspection of in house manufactured products as well as purchased items where applicable. Acting at all times in accordance with the companies Quality Systems and any relevant standard operating procedures/work flow.

Duties include;

To be fully proficient in the use of gauges, callipers, dial test indicator, shadowgraph and test equipment specific to the manufacturing of products.

Undertake patrol inspections within manufacture, assembly and packing in accordance with the quality procedures.

Recording all test results in either electronic format or hard-copy

Work with manufacturing to identify the root cause of non conformance's and determine the corrective actions that are required to prevent re occurrences, ensuring that any findings and actions are rolled out to other products, lines etc.

Suitable candidates will need

Proven ability to communicate at all levels

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Word and Excel

problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to establish and maintain multiple priorities and function in a team environment.

Light lifting and manual handling
