We are looking to recruit a Sales & Purchase Ledger Clerk to start work immediately on a full time temporary basis, this role could be permanent for the right person.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain the Purchase and Sales Ledger system of a large employer.

We would need you to be an effective communicator, reporting to the finance team. You would need to prepare sales invoices for all parts of the company.

Duties include:

Reconciliation of purchase ledger invoices to raised purchase orders, supplier statements and matching purchase invoices to purchase orders.

Daily submissions of supplier's remittances & sending purchase ledger invoices out for approval.

Administration - checking debtors report and chasing debts weekly, sending statements and copy invoices, filing of account information on a regular basis.

Call Management - to answer incoming telephone calls, with a professional and helpful approach to callers, ensuring calls are effectively and quickly transferred to the correct receiver or that messages are taken and distributed clearly and in a timely manner.
