Cheshire Constabulary are currently recruiting for a Property Officer to join their team based in Warrington Police Station.

The role is to efficiently manage the storage, movement and disposal of all property coming into the possession of the Police Area.

Duties of the post include:

·  The storage and safe custody of all property, including pedal cycles, catered for within the property system in the Division

·  Manage the receipt of all property and cards for all sections within the Division in accordance with Force General Orders

·  Maintain an efficient system to deal with all lost and found property issues in the Division, together with items of prisoner's property as directed

·  Liaison with the Crime Manager regarding the storage and disposal of drugs taken into possession in the Division

·  Responsible for ensuring that all arrangements, activities, equipment, supervision and staff health, welfare and training are complied with as fully detailed in the Health and Safety Policy

·  Must be able to travel anywhere in the Force area

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a thorough background check.

Please note that you would be required to spend the first 3 weeks of the role in Northwich to complete your training.
