Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Poole, England

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in engineering design and development, project management, and client liaison. From conceptualisation to execution, you'll be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

·  Conduct engineering design and development tasks, including detailed drawings and preliminary design.

·  Estimate project costs and prepare tenders for engineering projects.

·  Perform product testing and generate technical documentation.

·  Manage projects to completion, ensuring adherence to time lines and budgets.

·  Maintain regular communication with clients and negotiate contract variations.

·  Undertake site work and/or supervision as required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

·  Willingness to travel to sites in the UK and abroad.

·  Degree level qualification or equivalent in engineering or process-related field.

·  Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.

·  Familiarity with Microsoft Office and manufacturing ERP software.

·  Knowledge of engineering specifications and practical understanding of rotating machinery.

·  Strong commercial acumen, planning, and budgeting skills.

·  Experience in project management is desirable.

·  Training will be provided in areas where qualifications are lacking.
