The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the full coordination of identified key projects ensuring a smooth and on-time delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, the coordination of surveys, design requirements, quotation submissions, order management through to delivery and project completion.
You will work closely with all project stakeholders including Consultants, Contractors, interdepartmental team to ensure efficient execution of tight project plans.
This is a hands on and fast paced role which requires a high level of organisation and the ability to communicate at all levels.
� To manage complex projects in order to minimise risks and maximise the company's return.
� To manage and qualify project opportunities including reporting and tracking of requirements.
� Provide project support pre-order in order to identify and manage potential risks
� To liaise with all relevant parties including third party suppliers to ensure all risks are effectively managed
� To schedule full programme requirements including design and quotation updates, site milestones and completion dates
� Coordination of customer accounts including quotation, order processing, delivery and overall project delivery
� Maintaining and monitoring project documentation
� Chair and facilitate meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
� Providing administrative support as needed
� Liaising with customers, suppliers, sales engineers and all internal departments to
ensure on-time delivery of projects
� Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
� Act as the main point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
� Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
� Financial management of the project - protecting margin, forecasting
� Liaise with contractors / engineers to attend site. Turn-key and commissioning requirements or other services we might sell in future
� Site visits in line with project requirements
� Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
� Minimum of 3 years' experience within a busy commercial environment
� Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
� Ability to administer a busy workload, prioritise effectively and adhering to tight deadlines
� Good trouble shooting and problem solving with an ability to display tact and
diplomacy when coping with difficult situations
� Ability to work to own initiative and within a team to achieve challenging targets
� Excellent attention to detail
� Proven experience of working towards financially driven targets within a fast paced
� Good written and excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
� Taking ownership and responsibility for own workload and take a proactive approach whilst project managing customer accounts
� Experience of SAP and Salesforce
� Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal colleagues
� Excellent administrative and time management skills
� Professional and motivated approach
� Strong interpersonal skills in order to work alongside professional project teams
� Excellent problem solving skills with an emphasis on rapid resolution
� Willing to take ownership and responsibility
� Ability to work under pressure
