An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Assistant to join a well established Engineering organisation based centrally in Chesterfield.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Project Assistant or Project Administration role, ideally within an Engineering organisation.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills are essential and the ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to effectively prioritise a busy workload and support with multiple live projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the Head of Projects with the coordination, management and delivery of major engineering projects within the business
- Sales and purchase order processing using Sage 200
- Assisting with compiling detailed documentation and manuals for each individual project
- Liaise with the sales department to verify sales applications and costs
- Liaising with suppliers to purchase and obtain quotations for parts
- Attend weekly project and production meetings to ensure projects are running to schedule and to plan for new projects
- Reporting on existing projects utilising Sage 200 and MS Excel
- Creating PDF project manuals using Adobe
- Booking travel for members of the wider team as and when overseas travel is required
- Communicating with customers on a regular basis, providing updates and resolving queries as required

This is a full time permanent opportunity working Monday to Thursday 08:15 - 5:15 and Friday 08:15 - 4:00pm
