We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Supervisor to our clients well-established team at their site on the outskirts of Newmarket.
Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Outskirts of Newmarket
Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities:
· Lead and motivate a talented team of production workers.
· Ensure that all production processes are carried out effectively and efficiently, meeting quality standards and production targets.
· Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for everyone in the production team.
· Coordinate with other departments such as planning, engineering, and quality assurance to optimise production workflows.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development.
· Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the materials management team to ensure availability of necessary resources for production activities.
· Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, minimise waste, and reduce costs.
· Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the production process.
What are we looking for?
· Previous experience in a supervisory role in a Production environment.
· Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
· Someone who can motivate and manage a team effectively on a day to day basis.
· A problem solver with ability to investigate any issues.
· Brilliant communication skills.
