Production Scheduler required to support the Machine Shop order entry and loading/scheduling of manufacturing. This includes support for both specialist machining of new products and aftermarket refurbishment activity

Key Tasks :

1. Raise Gas aftermarket sub orders for the refubishment of seals after the seals have been inspected. Check orders raised by S&I technicians and add build & customer spares. Create export and delivery orders to allow seals to be shipped. Provide cover for contracts manager when on leave.

2. Using the gas seal test plan to prioritize, print the production works orders, drawings and green record sheet, arrange for any child parts to be issued then load into raw materials for cutting. Request BoM's and routes from the Data team when necessary

3. Raise purchase order and transport for planned subcontract, Liase with vendors then generate prioritiy list to suit. Also arrange for the re coating of after market seal parts.

4. Create labels for finished products adding the raw material purchase order and cast number details for traceability.

5. During busy periods arrange for the off load of Gas seals Aftermarket components

Required previous experience:

Previous production planing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Required Technical Knowledge:

Microsoft office, SAP

Education/Qualifications :

5 GCSE's grade C and above including Maths & English
