Global world leading manufacturing company are currently looking to recruit a production scheduler on a full time basis 40 hours per week.

This is a temporary ongoing role working through Adecco who are an employment agency.

The Role

� The primary objective of this role is to provide production scheduling and inventory management support for the Performance Manufacturing teams.

� The successful applicant will need to work closely with the manufacturing and warehousing teams plus external vendors on a day to day basis to ensure customer order fulfillment.

� The successful candidate will execute necessary transactions in order to provide excellent customer service whilst ensuring that good cost control is maintained.

� Additionally, the role involves looking for opportunities to improve local workflows, contribute to productivity improvements & eliminate non-value add activities.

Required Skills

� Must have worked with an MRP computer package, preferably SAP ECC 6.0

� IT literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

� The person filling this position must be self-motivated with a "can do" attitude and be able to balance multiple priorities.

� Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

� Good financial / business thinking is necessary as the function is key to managing the appropriate level on inventory, as well as in defining the economic order quantity (EOQ).

Qualifications

� The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum of a HND or a degree level in preferably a Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a technical degree.

Successful applicant will be subject to DBS criminal record check along with medical. Cost of this will be met by the employer.
