We are currently recruiting a number of Production Operators for our well established, expanding client based in Newport . The client offers long term on going work, with permanent opportunities following probation period, excellent earning potential and full training.

Duties/Job Role: Operating machinery to cut and bend steel bars to the shape and dimensions as detailed on customer's schedules, using basic measuring equipment and reading drawings.

Working towards production targets, you will operate as part of a team the plant's machinery and equipment. Through our machine's control systems, you'll monitor machine performance and troubleshoot problems if they arise. Undertaking any other production tasks required, you'll work safely and in accordance with instructions.

Full training and guidance will be provided.

Requirements: Ideally you will have previous experience within manufacturing or engineering industries. Previous experience within a 'hands on role' would be a strong advantage. You'll be a self-motivated individual. Working effectively within a team, you'll have the ability to follow processes, instructions and commit to assigned tasks.

Attention to detail, must be physically fit and have a good degree of manual dexterity, must be able to show concentration throughout whole work process.

Due to expansion we are currently recruiting a number of Production Operators for our client based in Newport.

Client: Our client is a well established manufacturing company based in Newport. The client is able to offer excellent temporary to permanent opportunities, free on site parking , full training ,PPE, competitive rates of pay and generous weekly & quarterly bonus payments.

Shifts/ Hours: Rotating shift pattern of Mornings and Afternoons.

Week 1 - 5.30am-2pm Monday to Wednesday, Thursday 2pm-10pm & Friday 1pm-8pm

Week 2 - Monday to Wednesday 2pm-10pm, Thursday 6am-2pm & Friday 6am-1pm 39 basic hours per week, generous overtime available

Salary: Annual Earnings - Starting salary £7.83 per hour on successfully completing training/signed off on machinery(between 5-13 weeks ) you will be entitled to Weekly Productivity bonus, Average earning potential will rise. OTE of £15,879 - £25,000 pa (Hourly £7.83 - £10.50 per hour ) (Inclusive of basic pay rate & productivity bonus)
