We are currently recruiting a number of Production Operators for our client based in Newport to start ASAP.

The client offers long term ongoing work, excellent earning potential and full training .

Shifts/ Hours: All associates will be require work on a rotating shift pattern of Mornings and Afternoons. Week 1 - 5.30am-2pm Monday to Wednesday, Thursday 2pm-10pm & Friday 1pm-8pm Week 2 - Monday to Wednesday 2pm-10pm, Thursday 6am-2pm & Friday 6am-1pm 39 basic hours per week, Overtime available

Duties/Job Role: Operating machinery to cut and bend steel bars to the shape and dimensions as detailed on customers schedules, using basic measuring equipment and reading drawings. Full training and guidance will be provided.

Salary: Annual Earnings - Starting salary £15,879 on successfully completing training you will be entitled to Weekly Productivity bonus, Average earning potential will rise . £15,879 - £22,000 pa (Inclusive of basic pay rate & productivity bonus) (£7.83 per hour initially + Weekly Production bonus once trained)

Experience : -Ideally you will have previous experience within manufacturing or engineering industries.

- Previous experience within a 'hands on role' would be a strong advantage.

-Experience of operating production machinery and / or cranes would be an advantage but full training will be provided.

-Experience within the steel industry a strong advantage but not essential.

-Attention to detail, must be physically fit and have a good degree of manual dexterity, must be able to show concentration throughout whole work process.

-Must be receptive to instructions given by work supervisors.
