Production Technician

Location: Bishops Stortford

Position: Production Operative

Salary: £9.23 per hour (weekly pay)

Overtime: Time and a half over 37.5 hours per week, and double payment on Sundays!

Type: Temporary 6 months contract

Hours: 08:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday (flexibility required)

Adecco are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to work for a large business based in Bishops Stortford.

The Warehouse/Production Operatives will be working in a packaging department in a production line and support the inventory and packaging runs in our clients' large warehouse.

The working hours will be 08:30 - 16:30, 5 days per week (Monday - Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

·  Assemble sample collection kits per strictly defined specifications.

·  Manage stock levels of kit materials and packaging components

·  To undertake labelling procedures of biological samples or pharmaceutical product at all temperatures (including low and ultra-low temperatures)

·  Ensures all job-related paperwork is correct, error-free, and completed in real time

·  To effectively communicate in a timely and comprehensive manner

·  To fill, maintain and monitor Liquid Nitrogen shippers

·  To label, condition and monitor cold packs

·  To maintain and clean Liquid Nitrogen Shipper cases

·  Works around hazardous substances and follows all safety guidelines to minimize exposure

·  Assures compliance to GMP requirements and company quality systems.

·  Ensures all job-related paperwork is correct, error-free, and completed in real time as per SOPs

·  To effectively communicate to ensure all project related information is conveyed in a timely and comprehensive manner

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

·  PC Literate

Essential Skills / Experience:

·  Good numeracy and literacy skills

·  Strong communication skills (verbal & written)

·  Good standard of English (verbal & written)

·  Good attention to detail

·  Ability to work under pressure

Although not essential, the following skills and experience would be preferred:

·  Worked within a GMP environment

·  Warehouse experience

·  Experience working in clinical packaging

Other:

·  All areas (except the freezer) have both ambient and chill sections and you will be expected to work in both. (Correct PPE provided along with extensive training).

·  You will be required to work overtime per operational needs which are paid at time and a half.
