Job Role: Service and Repair Technician

Location: Harlow (Hospital based)

Salary: £9.23 per Hour (£19K Equivalent)

Type: Temporary - Permanent (from 12 weeks based on work ethic etc.)

Hours: 09:00am - 5:00pm, Friday - Monday

Purpose of the role: To ensure delivery of service (maintenance, repairs, field mods, delivery support) at defined quality level in the most efficient way across a specific Area/Territory.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

- To deliver timely and appropriate service to customers

- To keep inventory of products and spare parts

- To ensure implementation of product modifications

- To ensure compliance with quality processes, both internal and external

- To deliver and install clean and ready for use products to customers

- To collect dirty or failing products from the customers

- To clean, test, and repair products and make ready for use

- To complete & record electrical safety testing on products during tasks

- To provide demonstration and basic training to caregivers

- To order spare parts, single-use goods and management of samples

- To ensure cleanliness of workplace

- To take good care of company vehicle and tools

- To complete daily/ weekly activity reports

- To update relevant IT systems

Qualifications and experience Requirements:

- Mechanical or electrical background desirable but not essential

- Experience in hospital service desirable

- Ability to work under own initiative, and follow procedures laid out by the business to achieve deadlines

Personal Requirements:

- Excellent Customer Service Skills

- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety rules

- Basic PC skills to include email and MS Office

- DBS Checked (undertaken when you start working)

- UK Driving license
