We are currently recruiting for a number of Production Operative's for our well established, expanding client based in Mansfield.

The client offers long term, ongoing work, with permanent opportunities following probation period (and current company circumstances), with an excellent earning potential (through generous weekly and quarterly production bonuses) and full training. Free on site parking and PPE is also provided.

Duties / Job Role:

Operating machinery to cut and bend steel bars to the shape and dimensions as detailed by the customer, using basic measuring equipment and reading drawings. Working towards production targets, you will operate machinery and equipment as part of the plants team.

Through our machines control systems, you will monitor machine performance and troubleshoot problems if they arise. Undertaking any other production tasks required, you'll work safely and in accordance with health and safety rules / instructions from management.

Full training and guidance will be provided.

Requirements:

Ideally you will have previous experience within manufacturing, engineering industries or another "hands on" role. You'll be a self motivated individual, who will also be able to work effectively within a team. You'll have the ability to follow processes, instructions and commit to assigned tasks. You'll be physically fit, but also have a good degree of manual dexterity and attention to detail, this is important due to the concentration that will be required for this manufacturing process.

The pay rate:

Starting (trainee) Rate: £8.33 per hour (with an opportunity for bonus, which averages £1 per hour)

After basic training - £8.59 per hour (with an opportunity for bonus, which averages £2 - £3 per hour)

Hours of work:

First 12 weeks (whilst training) :

Days - Mon to Fri, 6am-2pm

After Training is completed:

Days or Afternoons - Mon - Fri, 6am - 2pm or 2pm to 10pm

Holidays:

First 12 weeks: 28 days per annum

After 12 weeks: 33 days per annum
