Our client is a Sheffield based manufacturing company with extensive experience in design and manufacture. They specialise in stainless steel in civil engineering.

They are looking for Dispatch Production Operative to join their team.

Your duties are, but not limited to:

·  Following instruction from works orders and drawings

·  Working on the cutting machine

·  Cleaning steel bars

·  Perform quality checks during the stages of production and highlighting any discrepancies

·  Meeting customer deadlines by achieving daily targets according to the production schedule

·  Working in the dispatch department receiving deliveries from suppliers. Unloading, booking in and putting away of the delivery

·  Reconcile the delivery not to the purchase order for received items

·  Perform periodic stock level checks to maintain accurate database records

·  Reporting on stock levels

·  Maintain a clean working area

·  Perform production tasks required within the allocated time allowed to complete the job

·  Contribute to waste management programs

·  Identify and report unsafe operations to management immediately

·  Cover production operations as needed during busy periods and periods of employee absence
