Our Worcester based client is looking to recruit a Press Brake and Laser Operative to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for the operation of Amada press brake and Laser machines.

You must be focused with a proactive approach to your work and a commitment to completing all tasks to an outstanding quality.

Key Responsibilities

*Operating Amada press brake and Laser machines, ensuring it runs continuously to ensure maximum productivity.
*Producing orders on time and to the correct quality standard
*Setting up the machine by reading engineering drawings, programming, tooling changes

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

*Must have previous experience operating a press brake machine and Laser
*Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings
*Knowledge of different materials is an advantage.
*Must be competent in the use of all forms of measuring equipment including verniers, rulers, angle measuring devices.
*Able to work pro-actively and as part of a team to improve productivity and efficiency.
*Ability to solve problems

General

*Ability to be flexible and work outside core hours on occasion
*Regular travel to other sites
*Overseas travel may be required occasionally
*Ability to work in the UK with no restrictions
*Must meet security vetting criteria
*Participate in the performance review process, identifying development areas and strengths and undertaking continuous professional development.
*Participate in continuous improvement activities within the company
