CROYDON

MONDAY - FRIDAY 9AM - 5PM

3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT (POSSIBILITY OF BEING EXTENDED)

£18.54 HOURLY RATE (PAYE)

IMMEDIATE START

JOB PURPOSE:

The role of a Planning Officer will undertake various functions within Planning and Strategic team, particularly, managing planning applications primarily focused on householder applications.

MAIN DUTIES:

·  Responsible for the processing of own case load of planning and related applications.

·  Writing reports and making recommendations having regard to all material considerations.

·  Processing own caseload of appeals of Planning Inspectorate

·  Provision of pre-application advice service on a range of development proposals.

·  Responding to members and customers enquiries and complaints on the service.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

·  Be able to display a general level of ability in letter and report writing.

·  Experience in managing planning applications.

·  Experience in appeal awareness.
