Key Responsibilities:
Assist in providing key stakeholders with support and
advice in relation to pay and benefits matters.
Ensure that all information relating to payroll that is
passed into the department is acted upon at the correct
time.
Assist in the development of plans and timetables that
allows timely information and processing delivery (daily,
weekly, monthly as required).
Maintain, in consultation with the team's manager,
procedure notes for the designated areas of responsibility
Ensure the timely inputting of payroll data and completion
of payroll runs to ensure employees are being paid on
time each month.
Contribute to a range of payroll projects and activities as
requested by the Payroll Manager.
Key Outcomes:
All necessary work is completed on time in preparation for
Payroll.
Positive feedback on pay and benefit advise is received
from key stakeholders.
Relevant projects are completed successfully
Essential:
Experience of working within a customer service
environment.
Experience in payroll, compensation and benefits.
Good multi-tasking and organisational skills.
Excellent numeracy skills.
Good oral and written communications.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
Experience of working in a shared services centre.
Experience of pensions.
Experience of payroll systems
