Position: Payment Allocations Clerk
Location: Harlow (Pinnacles Area)
Salary: Living Minimum Wage + overtime rates (Dependant on productivity rates)
Type: Temporary (On-going with possibility for permanent contract after 12 weeks)
Benefits: Parking on site, 28 days holiday entitlement and monthly bonus based on productivity.
Working Hours: 08:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday and 1 day a week 11.30am - 7.00pm.

Job Content:

Adecco Harlow are recruiting for a Payment Allocation Clerk to join a successful, award winning business. The successful candidate will join a well established, hands on team to support with all aspects of the production function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments, investigating rejected payments and calling customers to locate missing account details. This is a fantastic opportunity that will offer a candidate fast paced office experience and a great place to work.

Daily Duties:

*Investigating rejected payments and understanding the missing data that needs to be obtained.
*Calling customers to obtain missing data such as their account details.
*Inputting the missing data on the computer, meeting daily targets.
*Reconciling cheques in a timely manner.
*Reuniting cheques for payments rejected during processing.
*Identifying items for reprocessing and items to be returned to customer.
*Reconciling a number of physical cheques against reported data.
*Processing cheques for clearing.

A high level of sensitivity, judgement and integrity is required.
