An exciting opportunity has arisen for full time Patient Pathway Administrators to join a large medical site in Birmingham.
As part of a team you will need to ensure all clinical correspondence is typed and processed within specified timescales and that outcomes are recorded correctly. You will also be supporting the Speciality PA's in the management of the RTT pathways.
You will need to have a sound knowledge of medical terminology, preferably having previously worked within a hospital setting. You will also be able to prioritise your workload with constantly changing demands to meet agreed deadlines.
You will ideally have previous experience working within a similar role and have a good understanding of N.H.S systems.
You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills and a good understanding of current 18 week Referral to Treatment. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues, able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure.
