EU Car Parts Desk Analyst

Working from home with occasional travel on site

12 months

Adecco UK are recruiting for a Parts Desk Analyst for our market leading automotive manufacturing client!

Job Description:

·  Dealing with internal and external queries relating to sourcing vehicle parts, being able to input data efficiently, investigate cases to help customers find parts.

The Role in detail:

The role of the Parts Desk Analyst/Customer Service Consultant involves taking responsibility for European customer cases where a service part is not available and finding solutions.

The successful candidate will need to have strong problem solving skills and the ability to communicate and influence co-workers throughout the organisation to achieve results.

In addition you will be responsible for leading your own project, reviewing KPI's (key performance indicators) and perform an analysis of a subject or problem to understand the route cause and implement a corrective action plan. The role will require being proactive and using your initiative to improve processes where possible. The role also entails reporting on team performance to different countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide alternate solutions or a reliable delivery outlook for customer service parts back orders:

·  Understand the priority levels of various customer cases (buybacks, car hire or normal customer back order).

·  Provide a high level of customer service

·  Working with cross functional teams (Dealer Contact Centre, Planners, Buyers, Warehouse and other Departments) to ensure the quickest customer back order resolution.

·  Investigate cases to find alternative parts to help the customer (e.g. higher assemblies, component parts, etc.)

Lead & support on various projects:

·  Reporting, KPI and counter-measures, develop and implement counter-measures, report on weekly stats and monitor results

·  Look for new ways to analyse the data to identify areas of improvement

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, fast learner and always thinks of the customer first. You will have strong problem solving skills and take initiative to improve knowledge, processes etc.

Furthermore the individual will have to be results orientated and able to work well on their own and within a team environment with an ability to work under pressure. They will need strong communication skills at all levels. Having other languages would be desirable, you will also need to have the ability to understand new systems (mainly SAP) and processes and have strong MS office skills (Excel, Access) which are essential.
