I am currently recruiting for a Paralegal for my client who is an award winning, modern law firm who are experts in conveyancing services. As a Paralegal you will support the Fee Earner by processing residential conveyancing matters You will be responsible of opening new cases and monitoring documentation through to file completion, ensuring clients and third parties are updated accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

·  Updating the internal database, archiving and billing systems

·  reporting and updating clients and other third parties on their matter

·  managing files and progress and chase outstanding matters

·  Processing residential conveyancing transaction documents and correspondence.

·  monitoring conveyancing procedures and documents to insure you are up to date with Procedure changes and are compliant.

Skills and experience required:

·  Experience in Residential Property is essential

·  previous Paralegal experience is desirable

·  A law degree (ideally 2:1 or above) or equivalent

·  You must have excellent written skills.

·  Excellent telephone manner and ability to take accurate telephone messages

·  Bright, Enthusiastic and ability to use own initiative

·  Hard working and able to work under pressure at times

In return my client in return can offer an extensive benefit package for all employees and additional training, tarting salary of £18,000-£22,000 and opportunities to progress to Senior Paralegal, along with other internal opportunities. A modern working environment however, just to note even though the client does have car parking the spaces can be limited, there is a good public transport link and parking close by, which would be a 10-15 minute walk into work.
