I have a fantastic opportunity to work for a major FMCG company on the Slough Trading Estate, within the R&D department. The role is responsible for managing small to medium projects in the innovation/efficiency pipeline for the EMEA region.
£21 per hour
33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Free car park
Ongoing Contract with the possibility of going permanent
The Role:
· Accountable for the delivery of packaging renovation
· Managing the input into systems and stage gates (Veritas, Nexus, Packaging Origination Request, QuEST, PQM, Premia)
· Primary interface within R&D for all sub-functions and functions outside of R&D
· Apply creative and functional skills on packaging
· Identify new packaging benefits
· Producing lab scale prototypes of existing/new packaging
· Defining relevant quality attributes
What we are looking for:
· French speaking desirable (but not essential)
· Science degree or equivalent in packaging or related subject area
· Project management and networking/communication skills
· Ability to use specification data management systems
· Proven technical capability and demonstrate creativity in turning insights into packaging opportunities
· An understanding of the desirable, feasible, viable approach and is able to demonstrate problem solving and analytical approaches
· Demonstrate a passion for the consumer and quality, being able to demonstrate creativity in turning insights into packaging solutions
· Understanding of the business strategy and the contribution of a given innovation project to the activity plan
· Understanding and application of our business process to manage innovation
