Working for a well established, forward thinking company in Basingstoke, the Operations Support Coordinator will act as a link between sales and service and the warehouse and requires the ability to liaise and work with external vendors, freight carriers and customers.

Key duties

·  Arranging and monitoring of palletised shipments to customer both in the UK and Europe

·  Working with warehouses for arranging the collection of shipments within the agreed SLA

·  Investigate and problem solve delivery issues and advise customer service representatives

·  Provide VAS (Value Added Service) to key account orders

·  Complete administration duties on a daily basis

·  Carry out ad hoc duties to meet the needs of the business

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

·  Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills

·  Strong Excel skills is advantageous

·  Customer focused

·  Good time management skills

·  Problem solving & solution seeking

This position is a very busy and varied role, requiring a highly organised candidate to provide support to the organisation, maintaining the work flow from point of entry through to dispatch to customer. Paying a competitive salary of £20,000 plus company benefits.
