Operations Administrator - manufacturing, scheduling, purchasing, logistics
Our client, a national manufacturer of bespoke commercial products, is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and driven Operations Administrator to work within their site (Lancaster/Morecambe area).
This would be the ideal role for a professional with meticulous administration skills and experience gained from working within Purchasing, Logistics planning and/or works scheduling.
With a strong eye for detail, efficiency and ability to work from your own initiative, you will undertake tasks such as:
· Planning & organising production scheduling & logistical requirements,
· Effective communication with other areas of the business - inc. Sales, design and finance,
· Estimating, negotiating and agreeing timescales,
· Selecting, ordering and purchasing of required materials - including the engagement of suppliers,
· And inventory management - inc. the annual stock-taking.
Working for an extremely rapidly extending, locally-based company, the successful candidate will be offered circa £18,000 with working hours of Mon-Fri, 8:00-4:30.
