Purpose and objectives of the role
To perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support my clients office and its smooth running.

Main duties and responsibilities

Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department, including but not exhaustive of the following:
*Purchase Ledger including input of accounting data text based and numerical data from source documents within time limits
*Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities in preparation for data entry
*Enter accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
*Compile and prepare Credit Card Reconiliation.
*Checking ledger balances to accounting documentation whilst researching problems and discrepancies, correcting errors or deficiencies and checking output
*Transfer data from paper formats into computer files where necessary
*Verifying CIS data via HMRC
*Sort and organize data after entry to ensure data preservation and record keeping
*Log all incoming jobs onto my clients software
*Provide assistance to AA,FC and FD when requested to do so to facilitate in the smooth and efficient running of the accounts department
All in compliance with the company's financial policies and procedures

Provide assistance to office activities, including but not exhaustive of the following:
*Manage all incoming calls into the office, screening and forwarding where necessary

Be the first point of contact for all inbound calls into the accounts department, dealing with requests appropriately and redirecting to other members where required

Provide assistance to keeping track and maintaining of all office supplies and stock levels
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately ensuring their needs are catered for

Maintain contact lists

Provide assistance to the Internal Operations where required on administrational duties
All in an accurate, efficient and timely manner

Monday to Friday

Must have some Construction background.
