Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Network Security Specialist in Dublin city

This is a contract until December 2020
Salary 35-50k plus benefits (pension, holidays, tax saver, bike to work etc.)

Your responsibilities include managing, developing and supporting client's networks. You will provide 2nd and 3rd Level networks (LAN and WAN) infrastructure support; monitoring the performance of the LAN and WAN infrastructure i.e. HP IMC, Fort iGATE EMS etc.; Setting up, installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining of networking equipment like switches, routers, Wireless Aps i.e. HPE switching, HP Abrura Wireless, Cisco routers and Fortinet. You will also be responsible for security.

Skills required:
oExperienced in security network and systems
oExtensive experience working within a role dealing with networks and security, monitoring and related solutions
oProven experience maintaining network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor
oAdvanced knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and the associated network protocols and concepts with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new technologies.
oKnowledge of LAN /WAN technologies, firewalls/security (Cisco ASA/Fort iGATE, Sophos, Fortinet Analyser) routers/switches (CISCO/HP ) Wireless Controller/AP(HP) - Knowledge of server environment(MS Active Directory 2016/Exchange 2013/ADFS/TMG 2010) - Knowledge of monitoring technologies(Forti Manager, HP IMC)
oKnowledge of ISO standards and protection of information and data i.e. ISO 27001 - Knowledge of Backup technologies(Veeam 9.5) - Knowledge of virtualisation (VSphere6.5 and SRM)
oKnowledge of DNS, Azure and AWS networking i.e. Expressroute
o Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
*Strong Communication skills, Assertiveness, Ability to Influence to Achieve Results, risk-based views.
*Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
