Mobile Service Technician

Location: Harlow, Essex

Position: Mobile Service Technician

Salary/Rate: £25,000 per annum

Type: Permanent, full time

Fortunately, due to demand for their services, which has resulted in a major growth over the past year, our client is now looking for a Mobile Service Technician to join their team .

This individual must have experience within Engineering or Electro- Mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to approach challenges logically and deliver the best solutions. Whilst, also demonstrating excellent attention to detail and confidence to build strong working relationships with key contacts. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who is eager to be supported to learn and strive for excellence.

Key Duties

·  Carry out proactive maintenance of machines in the region to pre-agreed schedules.

·  Work with the Regional Operations Supervisor to ensure proactive scheduling of activities and responsibilities across the region.

·  Conduct customer site surveys and lead new site set ups and installation.

·  Carry out reactive repairs of systems in the field, as and when they occur, minimising down time and disruption to our customers.

·  Deliver on site customer training, providing a professional and engaging practical and classroom experience.

·  Manage an effective and efficient work calendar to ensure maximum utilisation of time and resource in the care of the customers.

·  Communicate with the wider regional team, providing an accurate and thorough handover for continued service out of hours

·  Collaborate with the Client Support team to deliver routine customer care activities.

·  Deliver on site customer training, providing a professional and engaging practical and classroom experience.

Person Specification

·  Experience in Engineering/Electro-Mechanical is essential

·  A full UK clean driving licence

·  Excellent verbal and written communication

·  Proven ability to demonstrate high quality outputs and attention to detail

·  A drive for time bound completion of tasks.

·  IT Literate in Microsoft Office programmes and CRM system

·  Ability to work well under pressure, adapting to change at short notice providing flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
