Pressure vessel inspector

Full time role

This organisation is the world leader in Silicone Polymers and Silicon Chemicals for extensive end-user applications. Our facility in Barry, South Wales is the largest and most technologically advanced Silicone manufacturing facility in Europe.

We have a temporary vacancy (4-6months) in our Plant Integrity section which is UKAS accredited type 'B' inspection Body - providing independent assessment of Plant assets. This includes in-service assessment, of pressure equipment - vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks and pipework.

Candidates should have already worked as a Category 2 inspector as defined in UKAS RG2 for equipment coming within the scope of the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR), and have 'documented demonstrable' evidence

Experience / Qualifications in Pressure Vessel Design Codes, American Petrochemical Industry Standards (API) and Non-destructive Testing are advantageous.

Salary negotiable depending on experience, excellent opportunity available for immediate start.
